Day 1:The Bilderberg council
The most talked about council
in the Hindustan Young leader's conference is the Bilderberg also known as the
secret council and rightfully so, because, during the course of the conference
the members of this council are prohibited from interacting with the world
outside. The conference had delegates participating from around the world like
Barack Obama the president of United States, George Sabra the president of
Syria, Salman Khurshid the external affairs minister of India, Shelley Rubin
the Chairman and CEO of the USA based Jewish Defence League (JDL).
A delegate representing prince Muhammad Bin Talal putting forward his views that Israel is being a threat to the middle eastern countries
The delegates and the chair
persons were into serious business right from the start of the conference .
Various motions were passed and strong statements registered which resulted in
fiery arguments. Forceful statements
were made which sent the thermometer rising up many degrees !! Open threats
were issued and for a moment it all seemed very real as the delegates took the
job given to them very seriously. A room full of youngsters discussing about
the current political scenario in the world we live in is by itself a rare
sight and to see that they didn't take it lightly was only a remainder that our
future wont be so bad after all. the young generation can be responsible after
all.
Day 1 of the
conference came to an end with a few special speakers registering their views
and an update from the chairs. Every delegate who participated seemed to be
fully prepared and were ready to face any tough situation they were made to
face. The chair persons were at their witty best and proved to us in more than one instant they
are in their rightful positions. The delegates for whom this is the very first
conference were hesitant and didn’t seem to cope up with the heated situation.
But at the end of the day it proved to be a successful conference with motions
passed , argued, opposed, supported, and thought out. It leaves us waiting
eagerly for the start of the conference the next day. It’s a long wait until we
discover what more surprises the delegates can spring upon us.
enthusiastic delegates on the second day of the conference
To
get to sit through day 2 of the council of secrecy- the Bilderberg, by itself was an
amazing feeling and to actually be
present to witness the discussions was a rewarding experience . The
conference started off with the special speakers stating their views and
making their presence felt, as dynamic leaders with authority and power bestowed on them. It was serious
business throughout the day and that was made clear by the very first speaker ,
Henry Kissinger who said that every country’s central bank was infiltrated by
the JDL . That sure did deliver the chills for the delegates who hadn’t
realized that yet ! That statement left everyone
wondering about the inefficiency of the security agencies but at the same time
it also reminded us that the infiltrators have become smarter and left everyone
wanting better back up plans.Surely nobody would want to lose their wealth overnight and the ralization of it hit everyone hard.
delegate addressing the conference during the time allotted for special speakers
Serious accusations were made
by Benjamin Netanyahu who was sure of his view that Hamas was backed by the
Iranian government and that Saudi Arabia and Iran are plotting to wipe off
Israel from the face of the earth. He went on to say that he does not want to
live in a world that is not friendly towards the Jews. That sure did stir up
many delegates and set the thermometer rising rapidly in an already heated
room. An emotional Syrian delegate George Sabra said that after all the blood
shed that has taken place he wishes that peace be restored and assured that he
had no intensions of inspiring any extremists.
The floor was then
open to the delegates to pass preceding motions . The role of Benny Gantz in
the support of people for the JDL seemed to be the topic of interest to most of
the delegates and voted in favour of it to be discussed. Shelly Rubin was all praise for Benny Gantz
for she considers that he was really brave to have spoken out his views and
went on to state that a Jew always knows how to act when another Jew is in
trouble. That sure was an emotional
Miss.Shelly Rubin. Following that were further inputs from Henry
Kissinger who had the view that Benny Gantz is not the only person behind all
the attacks and Salehi was of the view that Benjamin Netanyahu was also behind the attacks. To
this accusation Benjamin Netanyahu replied that his government does not stand
by the JDL.
With serious discussions the
temperature in the council was soaring and yet the conference was no where near
the finish. Further motions like solutions to threats posed by the JDL and a
discussion on the updates given were passed and the delegates were into serious
business. A break between two sessions didn’t actually seem like a break
because every delegate was keen on finding facts to back up their arguments and they sure did take their business seriously .
It would be a crime to not put
in a word about the very skillful very well informed chair persons. Not only did
they at all times hold the council in order they did provide witty responses to
delegates which relieved the tension between them. The chair persons brought in
updates which further challenged the delegates to push themselves further, to
think on their feet and support their
arguments as demanded by the situation.
The conference on day two was
filled with open threats like JDL challenging the open market, a state of
emergency might be declared if the situation calls for it and
statements like “all the money is at stake”. The delegates had challenges in
the form of questions thrown at one another and almost all the delegates
managing to tackle the questions and answer them though there were a few
factual errors made.
With every delegate being firm on their
stand and not backing out from their stance
we are left at the end of the second day wondering what the day 3 would
bring to us . if not anything else we do know for sure that more motions,
discussions, threats, and arguments awaits us .
